Description
Little Warren and The Warren is a 19th-century brick-fronted building that likely incorporates elements from a 17th-century structure, although it has undergone significant alterations. The front is finished in whitewashed brick and features a slate hipped roof with brick dentil eaves. The building is two storeys tall and has three first-floor sash windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a central Victorian porch for Little Warren and a splayed bay window to the right. To the left, there is a fielded-panel door leading to The Warren, accompanied by two windows that have a modern hood above them. The Warren also has large Victorian additions. At the rear of Little Warren, there are two gables dating from the 18th century. Inside Little Warren, there is an 18th-century staircase with turned balusters, panelled square newels, a moulded handrail, and a fielded-panel door.
