Description
Humberstone Manor is a building with medieval origins that has been encased in 18th-century red brick. It has an L-shaped plan and features a slate roof with gabled ends. The manor is two storeys high and includes segmental brick arches. The first floor has horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor features 19th-century three-light sash windows. A late 19th-century wooden gabled porch is present, and the gable displays the initials and date "W.P. 1789." There are early 19th-century additions at the rear. Inside, the manor has segmental vaulted cellars and timber ceiling beams. The southeast wing contains medieval roof timbers, likely from the original hall and solar, dating from the 15th century.
