Description
Langdale View is a mid to late 18th century red brick house set in its own grounds. It features a slate roof with gable ends, moulded stone eaves, a cornice, and a small parapet. The house has three storeys and three windows, with the centre section projecting slightly. The windows are restored sashes without glazing bars, with flat brick window arches above. The ground floor has segmental arches, and modern windows have been inserted. A central open porch with Ionic columns and an entablature leads to a round-headed doorway with a fanlight. There is a string course at the first floor cill level, and the ends have a single storey one bay of blind elliptical arches. The rear and interior of the house have been significantly altered.
