II Including No 1 and 3 Belvoir Street. 1898 by Goddard and Co. Ashlar. Three storeys and attic. Corner site with elevations to Belvoir Street and Granby Street. Both sides have continuous modern shops to ground floor. Above first and second floors three windows bays. First floor divided by paired rusticated Ionic columns supporting entablature with pulvinated frieze and segmental arch pediments over columns. First floor windows round headed sashes with keyblocks, Ionic pilasters, centre Venetian. Above to second floor three-light and five-light windows divided by Ionic pilasters with carvings of the nine muses between in shell-head niches. Corner rounded first floor with three round-arch lights bay with segment of stone dome in second floor which is coved and rusticated. Left-hand end of Belvoir Street elevation rusticated topped by stone domed cupola. Slate mansard roof with semi-circular arched dormers and chimneys with cornices.
