Description
The Georgian House Hotel is an early 19th-century building located on Ashbourne Road. It features a roughcast exterior that has replaced earlier stucco. The hotel is two storeys tall and has five sash windows, with the central section slightly projecting forward and all windows equipped with Venetian shutters. The entrance boasts a moulded wooden doorcase with sidelights and a six-panelled door, along with a rectangular stone porch supported by paired Tuscan columns, a plain frieze, and a cornice. The building is topped with a well-crafted moulded eaves cornice and a small parapet, and it has a slate roof. The hotel is part of a group that includes Nos 24 to 38 (even).
