Description
Railway workers' accommodation built in 1842, designed by Francis Thompson. The building is red brick with ashlar plinths, a stone band at the first floor, and decorative brickwork to the coped parapets and chimney cornices. It has slate roofs. The building is two storeys high with cellars, and generally has two windows per bay, although number 2 has four windows. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The stone doorcases have small flat hoods supported by brackets and pilasters, with floor-panelled doors and fanlights.
