Includes No 2A Westmorland Street, Late C18-mid C19. Four builds. Three-storeys. Two northern builds of three and four windows, much alike. Red brick, stone eaves cornice with small paired brackets. Low pitched hipped roofs of Welsh slate. Gauged brick arches, stone cills to late C19 sash windows. (second build has fluted triple keystones), Two windows retain glazing bars. Ground floor modern shop front with tall stucco tend above continues in front of other builds; third build is early C19, lower, similar style and materials. Fourth build is lower and later one bay only with a rounded angle to south return where a taller, later four-storey Italianate bay has been added. Elaborate stone decorative detail in this part. Included for its important position in relation to the Cathedral. Five-bay return to Westmorland Street; some windows retain their glazing bars.
