Description
No. 9 Darrington Road is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and has a modern pantiled roof. The building features a one-unit double-depth plan and stands three storeys high. There is a sill-band at the first floor. The doorway is located to the left and has a plain surround with a modern pitched canopy above it. To the right of the doorway, there is a Venetian window with glazing bars. On the first floor, there is a three-light casement window with a plain surround and a raised keystone, while the second floor has a two-light casement window with a raised sill. The rear of the building has been altered with additions. The interior has not been inspected.
