Description
Nos 2 to 6 on Standbridge Lane is a later 17th century building that has undergone some alterations. It is two storeys high and features three wide bays, with the left bay being a separate build. The right bay is blank and has garage doors inserted. The left bay (No 6) contains two windows. The building is constructed from coursed squared tooled stone and has very heavy quoins. The roofs are stone flagged and have a fairly high pitch, with rebuilt chimneys. The first floor has Yorkshire sash windows, while the ground floor has small modern casements beneath the original lintels. The entrance features half-glazed four-panel doors with heavy lintels and monolith jambs. Inside, there is an exposed chamfered beam with tongued stops.
