Description

This is a house, likely dating to the mid-18th century, constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a Westmorland slate roof. The building has ashlar quoins and a two-cell, double-depth plan with a direct entry. It is two storeys high, with two bays of windows on each floor. These were originally likely three-light windows, now with plain stone surrounds, deep lintels, and single lights. A doorway is located on the right side, with a deep lintel and a carved datestone over, bearing initials in relief. The gables are coped with shaped kneelers. A central brick ridge stack is present.
