House, now office. 1834-39, converted C20. Red brick, stone basement storey and dressings, slate roof. 2 storeys with basement and added attic, 5 first-floor windows. Central flight of 10 stone steps to panelled door with large rectangular overlight in a stone surround of pilasters supporting entablature and dentilled cornice with moulded pediment. Flanking and first-floor windows: flat brick arches, stone sills and sill bands, plate-glass sashes. C20 dormers. Moulded stone eaves cornice, end stacks. INTERIOR: reputed to retain plasterwork including ceiling cornices and roses; fireplaces also survive. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: gate piers of stone, square section, approx 2m high, tapering, with pedimented capstones and raised laurel wreath motif. Boundary walls flanking gate piers and on northern side of forecourt: brick, approx 1m high, with roll-moulded stone coping. For history, see No.2 Blenheim Terrace, Woodhouse Lane (qv).
