Description

Blenheim Terrace Numbers 7 and 8 comprise a pair of red brick, terraced houses dating from 1834 to 1839. They have been converted to offices in the 20th century. The houses are three storeys tall with attics, and each is two windows wide with an entrance on the left side. The panelled front doors are set within stone architraves featuring keystones. The windows originally had sashes with plate glass, later replaced by small pane sashes and casements, and sit within flat brick arches with stone sills. The interior has not been inspected.

A pair of stone gate piers, approximately two metres high and of square section with corniced and shallow pyramidal capstones, stand before the houses. Brick boundary walls with stone copings, about one metre high, flank the gate piers and extend along the northern side, connecting to Number 8. The history of the terrace is documented alongside that of Number 2 Blenheim Terrace (reference separate listing).
