Blenheim Terrace Number 18 With Gate Piers And Boundary Walls

Blenheim Terrace Number 18, along with its gate piers and boundary walls, is a house that has been converted into offices. It was built between 1834 and 1839 and underwent conversion in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and features stone details. It has two storeys and a basement, with a symmetrical five-window facade. The central doorway is made of stone and is flanked by fluted columns, supporting an entablature with a pediment above and a rectangular fanlight. The windows are fitted with plate-glass sashes, have flat brick arches, and stone sills, with stone bands at both the ground and first-floor levels. The interior has not been inspected. The gate piers are made of stone, square in section, tapering towards the top with a pedimented capstone and raised laurel wreath motifs. The walls flanking the gate piers and on the northern side of the forecourt are made of brick with stone roll-moulded copings, standing approximately 1 meter high.
