Description
Number 18, along with its attached gates and railings, is an early 19th-century lodge located on Oakwood Lane in Leeds. The building is constructed of ashlar stone and features a slate hipped roof. It is a single-storey structure with a splayed corner that includes a sash window with glazing bars and a glazed door with an overlight, accompanied by a window on the left side. A tall stone chimney with a cornice adds to its architectural detail.
To the left of the lodge, there are octagonal gate piers topped with cornices and shallow pointed capstones, while a railing is positioned to the right. This lodge was likely built as the entrance to Oakwood House and Tregullow, although the current drive now leads to Oak House. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
