Description
The Clock Tower, built around 1905, is possibly designed by Leeming and Leeming. It is constructed of ashlar and features a tall, slender structure that is square in plan. The sides are formed by square shafts that create panelled sections. There is a round-headed niche and a bracketed cornice above, which supports the clock face. Above the clock, small rusticated fluted Ionic cornice pilasters hold up a scrolled pediment adorned with winged beasts at the corners. The tower is topped with an octagonal cupola that has a finial.
