Description

Carr Farm Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The house follows a 2-cell central-entry plan. There are quoins at the corners. The doorway has tie-stone jambs. The windows are flat-faced mullioned; the ground floor window to the left has slightly recessed mullions and three lights with a matching window above. To the right of this is a window of two lights with a window above. The gables are coped with kneelers. There is an end stack located to the left.
