Description

This is a house located at 17 North Hill Road in Leeds, built in the mid-19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed from dressed stone and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and three bays, designed in a Tudor style.

The entrance front has a central bay that is set back, featuring a wooden gabled porch with a slate roof. The left bay has splayed angles, each topped with low-pitched gables leading to a parapet. The windows have 4-centred arches, with chamfered reveals and dripmoulds on the ground floor, although later casements have been inserted into the original openings. The house is topped with an embattled parapet and has paired diagonally-set chimneys with flat cap stones.

On the north elevation, the building is symmetrical with two storeys and three windows, including two canted bay windows with battlements on the ground floor. The interior has not been inspected.
