Description
This road bridge, built around 1790, is likely the work of Bernard Hartley, the County Surveyor of Bridges. It features rock-faced stone abutments and a rusticated stone parapet. The bridge has a single segmental arch made of elongated rusticated voussoirs and a dropped keystone. The sides are slightly swept, and the abutments have channelled stonework with projecting square piers. The band, parapet, and coping exhibit channelled rustication and end on either side with drums that have domed caps. The bridge is located approximately 40 meters west of the Old Star Inn on Collingham Harewood Road.
