Description
Linton Bridge is a road bridge over the River Wharf, built in the early to mid-19th century. The parapet may have been renewed in the late 19th century. The bridge is constructed from rock-faced stone, with brick used for the intrados of the arches. It features three basket arches that have rusticated voussoirs aligned with the stone courses. The design includes rounded cut-waters and an ashlar band, with a rock-faced parapet that terminates in square piers.
