Description

The statue of the Duke of Wellington, created by C. Marochetti in 1854 and erected in 1858, is located in the south-east corner of Woodhouse Moor in Leeds. The statue is made of bronze and stands on a polished granite pedestal with a square section, cornice, and plinth. Originally, it was situated in Victoria Square, in front of the Town Hall.
