Description
This is a 17th-century barn located approximately 75 meters west of Farnley Hall, which was restored around 1806. The barn features a timber-frame structure with walls made of hand-made red brick in a random bond, along with ashlar quoins and stone details. The south side is rendered, and it has a stone slate roof. At the east end, there is a large segmental-arched cart entrance leading into the yard, with a stone clock-face above it, and a segmental arch on the south side. Inside, the barn retains a king-post roof with angled struts, and it likely still has the principal wall posts.
