Description

The gate piers and wall to the Adult Education Centre were built around 1908, likely designed by Temple Moore. The structure features ashlar piers and a brick wall topped with stone coping. The square-section piers are located opposite the main entrance to the Priory of St Wilfrid, which is now the Adult Education Centre. These piers have a moulded projecting band and a ball finial. The low wall extends approximately 60 meters along the road frontage and rises with the ground. The railings are missing. This structure is included for its group value.
