Description

The boundary wall and two sets of gate piers to Fairbairn House were built in 1840 for Peter Fairbairn. The wall is constructed of brick with stone copings and features ashlar piers. It has an overall length of approximately 90 meters and a height of about 3 meters, which is reduced to 1 meter between the gateways. The gate piers are approximately 3 meters high, have a square section, are slightly battered, and have panelled sides with dentilled pedimented caps. This structure is included for its group value.
