Description

Berry Greave is a cottage dating from 1685, as indicated by a datestone on the adjoining dwellings. It is part of a farm terrace and has undergone significant alterations. The exterior is rendered, and it features a pitched stone slate roof. The south elevation includes a ground floor doorway with a modern casement window above which is a drip moulding that continues over to the Berry Greave farmhouse. On the first floor, there is a 5-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation has a doorway with a stone surround and modern casement windows.
