Description
This is a late 18th-century terrace of five houses, numbers 29, 31, 33, 35, and 37, located on Heys Road in Thongsbridge. The houses are built of hammer-dressed stone, with quoins and a stone slate roof, partially turned. Moulded kneelers are present. There are three large internal ashlar chimney stacks and one ashlar gable stack. The terrace is three storeys high. The doorways have deep lintels, one of which is partially blocked. The windows are mostly stone mullioned, with either two or three lights. Some mullions have been removed, and some windows are now C20 casements. At the rear, entrances and a four-light window are visible on the ground floor. First and second floors each have a six-light stone mullioned window in each dwelling, with two of the centre lights blocked, and again some mullions have been removed. A two-storey extension to the left and a single-storey extension to the right are not included as part of this listed item.
