Description
No. 11 Heys Road is a detached house that dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and a stone slate roof with gable copings supported by carved kneelers. The house has large moulded brackets supporting the gutter and a central ashlar stack.
The building is two storeys tall with an attic. The central door is partially blocked, flanked by a 2-light stone mullioned window on each side, and there is a later doorway to the right. On the first floor, there is one 2-light stone mullioned window, one 4-light stone mullioned window, and a central single light window. At the rear, there is a 2-storey lean-to extension of similar age, which includes a 4-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. To the right side of the house is a slender staircase window, and in the gable at attic level, there is a 3-light stone mullioned window.
