Description

34 New Street is an 18th-century building constructed of whitewashed stone with a pitched stone slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features a modillion eaves cornice. The façade includes three ranges of 19th-century windows set in original plain raised surrounds. There is a modern shopfront at the ground level. An elliptically headed archway leads to Hawksby's Court, which is adorned with fine mid-19th-century wrought iron gates.
