Description

14 Gay Lane is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high and is constructed of stone. It features a steep stone slate roof with one moulded stone chimney stack. The facade has three windows, although one is blocked. Originally, one of the windows was a three-light mullion, but only one light remains visible, as the others are concealed by a later penticed extension. There is also a window with a stone architrave that has modern glazing. On the ground floor, there is a modern window and a modern door, both set within a stone architrave. The building is dated with the initials M over W.M. and the year 1761. The rear of the property has been altered.
