Description
No 21 on Crow Lane is an 18th-century dwelling house that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of stone and features a stone slate roof, with kneelers and chamfered gable coping. The house has two prominent chimneys and three irregularly placed windows. On the ground floor, there are two windows: one is a single light, and the other has four lights with stone mullions, similar to those on the first floor. The stone doorway is notable for its moulded jambs and lintel, which is initialled and dated F (over) W.M. 1733, although it has a modern door. This house is built with substantial materials and, like No 19, has a large garden on the south side. It shares a roof with No 19, and together they form a group.
