Description

This is a pair of weavers' houses, dating to the early or mid-19th century. The houses are built of hammer-dressed stone, with a stone slate roof and two ashlar chimney stacks. The buildings are three storeys high. Two central doorways are present, with a four-light window to the right and what was probably originally a matching window to the left, though a lean-to extension now obscures all but one light. Each dwelling has one five-light window on the first and second floors. A two-light window is found in each gable, also on the first and second floors.
