Description

No. 53 on Huddersfield Road is an early 19th-century weaver's house. It is built from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof with two ashlar stacks, gable copings, and stone brackets. The building has three storeys and a three-bay symmetrical facade. The central door is flanked by a four-light window on each side. On the first and second floors, there is a central single light window with a four-light window on either side. The openings on the upper floors have continuous heads and sills.
