Description
The former gatehouse to Lees Hall, located to the south of the main hall, is a small rectangular derelict outbuilding believed to date from the 17th century. This single-cell structure is timber-framed, featuring stone on the south side and close vertical studding with brick infill. The roof is missing, and it contains two king post trusses with struts that are braced to jowelled posts. Arcade plates and bressumers are present, but the purlins are gone.
