Description
Nos 49 and 51 Magdale are a pair of cottages with origins dating back to the late 18th century, possibly altered in the early or mid 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature quoins, topped with a stone slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with entrances located in recent porches on both the left and right sides, each having a large single light above. No 51 has a bay with a 5-light stone mullioned window, while No 49 has a bay with 3-light windows. Each gable has a single-storey lean-to extension made of coursed rubble.
