Description
SE 1312 MAGDALE SE 11 SW (Honley) 9/194 1/194 No 14 GV II
House, part of group. Late C18 or early Cl9. Hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Stone slate roof with gable copings on carved kneelers. Three storeys. South elevation: symmetrical facade of 3 bays. Central doorway with fanlight. Large sash to each side. First and second floors have 3 sashes, possibly formerly 2-light windows with central mullion removed. To east is former 2 storey cottage now part of No 14. Slightly later date. Entrance with later single light over. One 3-light stone mullioned window to right, both floors. Single storey extension to right of no architectural interest. North elevation: staircase window consisting of 3 tiers of 2-light stone mullioned windows.
