Description
No 14 Magdale is a house that is part of a group, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. The stone slate roof has gable copings supported by carved kneelers. The south elevation presents a symmetrical facade with three bays. The central doorway includes a fanlight, and there are large sash windows on either side. The first and second floors each have three sash windows, which may have originally been two-light windows with a central mullion removed. To the east, there is a former two-storey cottage that is now part of No 14, built slightly later, featuring an entrance with a later single light above it. To the right, there is a three-light stone mullioned window on both floors. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension to the right that has no architectural interest. The north elevation includes a staircase window made up of three tiers of two-light stone mullioned windows.
