Description

No 1 St Ann's Square is a house that is part of a row, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two ashlar stacks. The near central door is topped with a deep lintel. On the left side, there is a 3-light stone mullioned window on each floor. On the right side, there is a 5-light window on the ground floor and a 6-light window on the first floor. To the left, there is a later two-storey addition that is of no particular interest. At the rear, there is a later extension with a catslide roof.
