Description
Croft House is a house in a row, originating from the early to mid 18th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and a stone slate roof. The building has two stacks with small cornices and a moulded eaves cornice supported by stone brackets.
The house is two storeys tall. On the south-east elevation, there is a near central doorway with a chamfered lintel. To the left, there is one three-light double chamfered stone mullioned window on each floor. To the right, the ground floor has two large single-light sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has one three-light and one four-light double chamfered stone mullioned window. A modern window is present at the rear.
