Description

Outlane is a late 18th-century house, part of a row. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof covered with bitumen. Carved kneelers are visible. The building is positioned at a 90-degree angle to the rest of the row. The gable front features a ground-floor doorway and a four-light stone mullioned window, with two mullions having been removed, suggesting a possible window enlargement. The first floor has a six-light stone mullioned window, with one light blocked. A Venetian window is situated in the gable apex, with the central light also blocked.
