Description

This is a late 18th-century house, altered subsequently, situated as part of a group in Outlane. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with quoins, and has a stone slate roof. An ashlar chimney stack and moulded kneelers are also present. The south-east elevation shows alterations to the ground floor, where the windows were originally multiple-light. The entrance has been partly blocked. The first floor has one nine-light stone mullioned window, with three lights blocked to create two three-light windows. A similar eight-light stone mullioned window on the second floor has two lights blocked, yielding two three-light windows. A modern extension has been added to the west. The rear elevation's second-floor windows are partially obscured by a first-floor passage leading to number 29 Outlane.
