Description

No. 17 Magdale is a building that forms part of a terrace and dates back to 1792, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys. On the south-east elevation, there is an entrance and a ground floor window with five lights, although one light is blocked and two of the mullions have been removed. The first floor has a nine-light stone mullioned window, with two of its lights also blocked. The datestone located beneath the first floor window reads: Built (illegible) & John Hirst 1792.
