Description
Three cottages, likely originating as a single dwelling, date from the 17th or early 18th century and have been altered over time. They are constructed from thinly coursed rubble with quoins. The roofs are covered with stone slates, some turned and some covered with bitumen. The cottages are two storeys high. Number 13 features 3-light windows on both floors, along with an early doorway boasting moulded jambs and a deeply moulded lintel. Number 15 has a late 18th century doorway and a 3-light window with a hood mould to the ground floor, both set within a recent porch. The first floor has been altered and contains a 4-light window from which two mullions have been removed. Both windows in this property are double chamfered. Number 17 has a 2-light double chamfered window with a hood mould on the ground floor, alongside a 19th-century doorway. The first floor has a 4-light double chamfered window which has been altered, with two mullions removed. A brick extension is present at the rear of number 17. A round arched window of fine quality is situated at the rear of number 13.
