Description
Broadfield Farmhouse Tanners is a late 17th century farmhouse, with alterations made in the mid 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two ashlar stacks and moulded footstones. It stands two storeys high.
On the east elevation, there is an entrance that is now within a modern porch. This side also includes one three-light and one five-light stone mullioned window, both with double chamfers, as well as two later two-light stone mullioned windows to the right. The north gable has a recent single-storey lean-to extension at ground level and a former two-light stone mullioned window that is now blocked on the first floor.
