Description
72 New North Road is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone, featuring a hipped slate roof and two storeys. The façade includes a moulded eaves cornice supported by paired brackets, and a dentilled frieze and cornice at the first floor level. On the first floor, there are two pairs of round-arched sash windows with moulded sills, imposts, voussoirs, and plain keystones, along with one single round-arched sash window in a matching surround. The ground floor has two segmental bays, supported by Tuscan piers that lead to an entablature, with parapets decorated with circles in relief. The entrance features a panelled door within a porch, supported by square Tuscan columns that hold up an entablature and parapet, also adorned with circles in relief.
