Description
Nos 81, 83, and 85 on Radcliffe Road are a terrace of houses built in the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof that has been bitumenised, supported by stone brackets. The terrace is two storeys high.
On the south elevation, the ground floor has three entrances with stone surrounds and tie-stones. There is one 4-light stone mullioned window and two 3-light stone mullioned windows. The first floor features one 7-light stone mullioned window and one 12-light stone mullioned window, which has two blocked lights, resulting in one 6-light and one 4-light window.
The north elevation includes an entrance with stone surrounds and tie-stones on the first floor, a former opening that is now blocked, and two 4-light stone mullioned windows. This terrace is included for its group value.
