Description

Nos 2 to 14 on New Street are a row of buildings dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, which were refaced in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of stucco and have a pitched stone slate roof. The buildings rise three storeys high and feature a modillion eaves cornice. Below the second-floor windows, there is a moulded string course. The façade includes 12 ranges of sash windows set in moulded surrounds, with the second-floor windows having moulded panels in their aprons. The ground floor has been altered to accommodate modern shops.
