Description

No 2 Market Walk is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone, topped with a pitched stone slate roof. It features stone brackets supporting the gutter and has three sash windows. The building is noted for its distinctive late 19th-century shopfront, which includes horizontally rusticated pilasters with Tuscan capitals, an entablature, and a dentilled cornice (currently boarded over). The entrance has a door flanked by curved glass panels, and below the window are three painted glass panels that read "Jewellers. Fillans and Sons. Watchmakers."
