Description
The building on the east side of the yard at Armitage Bridge Mill dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The structure stands four storeys tall and has stone brackets supporting the gutter. It has a total of 13 windows, with four located in the end elevation. The gable is adorned with a parapet that has scrolled consoles at both ends and a pediment in the center. Notably, there is a blocked archway with a three-centred head that extends through the ground and first floors, featuring a plain raised impost band and a pediment above.
