Description
This stone warehouse, located in the goods yard off New North Parade, dates from the mid-19th century, likely built between 1878 and 1883 during the enlargement of Huddersfield Station. It features hammer-dressed stone and a pitched slate roof with a parapet surrounding the building. The warehouse has two storeys on the yard side, with the ground level dropping on the railway side, and includes an attic with semi-circular lunettes in the gable ends. There are twelve ranges of industrial windows, with five located on the shorter sides. The entrance has double doors with six moulded panels and a fanlight above.
