Description

These are two dwellings, likely dating to the mid-18th century, although significantly altered and extended in more recent times. Architectural interest lies primarily in the rear (north-facing) elevation. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble with quoins, and have a stone slate roof. The north gable features a central three-light double chamfered stone mullioned window on each of the two floors, with one mullion removed from each. A doorway was inserted to the first floor in the mid-19th century, accessed by stone steps, and a more recent doorway was added to the ground floor. The east and west sides each contain two-light double chamfered stone mullioned windows to the first floor, with one mullion also removed from these.
