Description
Nos 80 and 82 Dob Lane are a pair of cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from thin rubble brought to course and feature a stone slate roof. The cottages are three storeys high, with each having one bay and quoins. The openings have plain stone surrounds, and the windows include flat-faced mullions. Each cottage has an end door, a three-light window on the ground and first floors (with the mullions removed from No 80), and a very low two-light window on the second floor (with the mullion removed from No 82). On the left side at the eaves, a large block connects this pair to No 84. The cottages also have chamfered gutter brackets and a central ridge stack. They are included for their group value.
