Description

Stump Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble brought to course and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and one bay, with quoins on the left side. There is a 20th-century board door set in a plain stone surround that has tie stones, with the letters "MR" incised on the right jamb. To the left of the door, there is a two-light flat-faced mullion window with a plain stone surround above it. The cottage also has chamfered gutter brackets and a kneeler on the left side, along with an end stack to the left.
